Belated Mother's Day Cards
Happy (Belated) Mother's Day to all the Mum's out there!
Here are the two cards I created for Mother's Day this year.

Here are the two cards I created for Mother's Day this year.
You'll have to excuse the different lighting, I forgot to take a photo of one before I gave it to Mum, so the photo's are taken at completely different times.
This card used quite a few different items from current and past catalogues! The designer paper on both is the same, but pairing with card stock makes such a difference (possibly the lighting too)! The background is Painted With Love Specialty Designer Series Paper, and Layered Leaves Dynamic Embossing Folder.
For the flowers I stamped the Amazing You with Versamark, and heat embossed with Gold Embossing Powder. I used a Aqua Painter dipped on the respective inks to create the slight watercolour look in the flowers. I love this look, I'll definitely be adapting it to future cards.

I paired 'Celebrate You' thinlits with 'YOU' in a matching card as the base, and 'AMAZING' in Gold Foil to match the flecks of gold in the Painted With Love Designer Series Paper. This gorgeous paper is still available in the 2018 Occasions Catalogue.
