Graceful Glass Vellum and the new In Colors /5

Apologies for my absence! A fantastic work opportunity came to me so I jumped at the chance, and as a result my personal life had to take a back step for the moment.

However I'm back with my final card for the Graceful Glass Vellum, featuring Lovely Lipstick.

This was so simple to make, I recommend a card like this if you need one in a hurry. The markers take a couple of minutes to dry, so the first thing I do is the colouring-in. I then cut the card stock and the mat, before sticking it all together. Simple!

The dimensions I use for my cards are 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches. It has been my go to after seeing another card maker use it, and I know it fits in my Stampin' Up! Envelopes, even with embellishments or ribbon on the front.

These are the five cards I made to show case the five new In-Colors for 2018-2020, and the Graceful Glass Vellum. These cards aren't what I would consider 'my style', so I found this task I set myself a really fun opportunity to challenge myself. Even when showing my partner the cards, he said "they're not your usual colours!"

So challenge yourself - I dare you to pick a stamp set, a colour, or a DSP - something you don't usually use, and get those creative juices flowing! You just might surprise yourself.
